Curiosity has the most profound effect on children. When they encounter this new world around them, they are compelled to understand and investigate. I wanted to restrict this child in a natural setting and show the eagerness to engage. I wanted a feature of this sculpture to have him interacting with a barrier. In this picture, you can see a plane developing with the child’s two hands, chin, mouth, nose and hat. This sets up his surrounds without having their physical presents. I made the little boy’s clothes tattered, to develop his life style. He does not come from wealth. He is looking at this wonderful thing in this window that probably cost money. Besides the window in front of him, he is restricted even more by the fact that he won’t be able to buy it.
