This was the first project was able to paint light and shadows. This light source allows the viewer to understand the setting better. The strong light becomes a door.
Then the conversation becomes ‘what’s behind the door?’, instead of ‘what is the figure doing?’ The light is setup in a way were it bends around the folds to enhance the curvature of the fabric. You experience the light in a different shape.
